Now more than ever we need affirming spaces for our children. In today’s charged climate, where anti-diversity sentiment is increasingly mainstreamed by parts of the U.S. government and media, centering Blackness is not just an educational strategy, but an act of resilience and resistance.
Dominant narratives seek to erase or minimize Blackness and UAL reclaims it. By standing resolute in our values and we are doubling down by nurturing confidence, inspiring joy and shaping future leaders who can see themselves in an ever-changing world.
